Interactive Installations
Merck Curiosity is a project that brings together fifteen interactive presentations using the Ars Electronica Deep Space device : two screens of 75m², one vertical and the other projected on the ground, each broadcasting an image in 8k stereoscopic, while the position of the players walking on the ground screen is measured and used to interact with the application.
The ensemble has been presented in June 2018 on the historic Merck campus in Darmstadt (Germany).
OUR ROLE IN THIS PROJECT
Novelab was in charge of two of these applications, presenting Merck’s vision for the next thirty years of technological and scientific progress, from laboratory automation to the growing environmental concern of a company of this caliber (40,000 employees in the world).
