THE CONTEXT

For this experience, we created an interactive Virtual Reality experience that links the history of aviation with the current & future states of technology.
Visitors can fly over the main stages of the air conquest by men. From Leonardo da Vinci’s ornithopter to the airplane of the future, including the Wright brothers’ Flyer (the first controlled flight of the ‘History in 1903), the Concorde or the A350.
A tailor-made haptic installation allows the visitors to feel the flights like never before.

HOW IT WORKS

Users stand on a hydraulic platform that tilts according to their body position in order to enhance the realism of flight sensations.
Equipped with a VR headset, visitors sit at the controls of the different planes and interact with the cockpit and the passengers before taking flight.

Scenario, artistic conception, 3D modelisation, UI/UX design and the programmation of the experience were made within Novelab studio
