Behind the scenes: crafting chaos at Goetia Academy

Goetia Academy was born from a desire to blend playful mischief with fast-paced crafting in a whimsical setting. Set in a school for demons, the game invites players to become alchemy apprentices, creating cursed items under pressure.

The design draws on magical academia tropes with a quirky twist, vibrant visuals, frantic multitasking, and a humorous tone that keeps the experience light, dynamic, and endlessly replayable.

Built for Meta Horizon: a platform for creators

Developed as part of Meta’s Mobile First Program, Goetia Academy is now live on the Meta Horizon Store. Horizon Worlds is Meta’s immersive platform for interactive, social-first content. This game was designed specifically for mobile, with short gameplay loops, intuitive controls, and layered progression.

Novelab and Meta worked closely to create an experience that’s accessible, visually rich, and optimized for both mobile and headset users.
