In association with the audiovisual production company Les Films d’Ici and the scenographer Clémence Farrell, Novelab has created twelve interactive devices for the for the permanent exhibition “Monaco and the Ocean”, which inaugurated on July 14, 2018 at the Oceanographic Museum Oceanographic Museum of Monaco.
Our team was in charge of integrating the applications into the devices in the studio and participating in the on-site installation (Game Design, UX/UI Design, Scripting, Devices programming, graphic design, integration of audiovisual productions).

Among the devices realized by Novelab, we can find the multiplayer serious game “The Stakes of the Oceans in the 21st Century” presenting the challenges related to a collective action on the climate, this device is played on one of the eight touch screens arranged in a straight line, and which each have two game stations (one on each side of the screen). It can therefore accommodate 16 active players.
The device consists of a desk on which is installed a reel equipped with a rope and two pushers, allowing the visitor to understand the way how Prince Albert I and his collaborators measured the atmosphere (measurements of temperature and hygrometry) with the help of with the help of kites or weather balloons.
